STEM Teacher Development

Building confident science and maths teachers.

Our teacher development is practical and classroom-focused. It strengthens teachers' subject knowledge and shows them how to teach it well, including how to use the laboratory apparatus and materials their schools already have.

SACE-endorsed programmes

SCIMAT is an approved SACE professional development provider (provider no. PR000000229, valid until 12 December 2028). Each of these programmes is endorsed for 15 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points:

Who delivers it

Our facilitators have lectured mathematics and science at universities, presented papers at national and international conferences (including those of SAASTE and AMESA), authored learning materials, and served on the national Technology curriculum.
